CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

CORONAVIRUS - Mendelssohn Scholarship deferred until 2021

In the light of the current situation of the Coronavirus, The Mendelssohn Scholarship Foundation (including The Boise Scholarship Foundation) has regrettably decided to defer the 2020 scholarship award until 2021.

Any composers wishing to apply for the scholarship in 2021 should write to info@mendelssohn-schol.com in December 2020 for further information about the application process.

Any composers who have already submitted a postal application to The Royal Academy of Music should be assured that their scores will be in safe keeping, but the RAM is closed until further notice.  When access is allowed, scores and paperwork will be returned by post.

Thank you.                       Jean Shannon, Hon Secretary, 29 March 2020
